The last will and testament of ELIZABETH 
KEWLEY ALS LEECE being in perfect mind & 
memory at the making hereof.  First she 
committed the soul to God and her body 
to Christian burial February 14th, 1747.  
Item, she left to her HUSBAND PHILLIP KEWLEY 
her half of the cow her half of the 
fishing gears and half of what meal 
and corn was in the house legacy.  
Item, she left to BROTHER JOHN LEECE 
twelve pence legacy.  Item, she left 
to her SISTER DOROTHY MOORE ALS LEECE 
twelve pence legacy.  Item, she left 
to BETTIE CANNELL a feather bed & the 
white chest legacy.  
Lastly, she nominated and appointed JOSEPH CANNELL 
& ELIZABETH HIS WIFE whole executors of all 
the rest of her goods & whatever houses was 
to fall due to Joseph Cannell & Elizabeth 
his wife by her death after their decease 
to fall due and return to JOSEPH CANNELL 
THEIR SON, the said ELIZABETH KEWLEY departed 
this life January 30, 1748.

AT A COURT OF CORRECTION  at Balnyhown February 3, 1748, 
the executor is sworn in Court in form of Law 
and hath given pledges for payment of debts and 
legacies vizt., William cooper and Thomas Crellin 
the witnesses of the will
