In the Name of God Amen I Isabel Christian als Skillicorn being weak in
body, but of perfect mind & memory at the making of this my Last Will &
Testament, First I committ my Soul unto God and my Body to Christian burial.
Itm I leave and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Issabel Killip all the Houses
& Gardens situated in Laxey to be & run (?) in the nature of Inheritance
forever after the decease of the Longer liver of eighter my Husband or
myself, and if in Case she my Grand Daughter shod'd died before she possess
the Same that then & in that case the sd Houses & Gardens were to descend
to my Brother Captn Skillicorn is he Survives the sd Child.
Itm I leave to Alice Lewney a Quarter of a Heifer & a Lamb
Itm I leave six pence Legacy to any person that may hereafter claim any
right or title to any part of my Effects.
Lastly I constitute and appoint my Loving Husband Thos Christian Sole Execr
of all the rest of my Goods or Effects of what kind & nature Soever
moveable or immoveable
I leave unto my sd Husband the Care of the above Child During his Life

At a Chapter Court in KK Marown Octor 19, 1748 The Execr is sworn in Court
in form of Law --as also Supervisr of the child purs[...] to the Will of
the Testatrix — and hath given pledges for paymt of Debts and Legacys
