The Last Will & Testament of John Cannell of Ballacarnane within the parish of KK Michael who departed this Life about the beginning of March Anno Dom1749/50. being of perfect mind & memory at the making hereof; First He committed his Sole to God & Body to Christian burial -- Item He left to his grand-daur. Joney Siggins the Coverlett & Blanket wch. was upon the Bed where he lay, in her Wages together wth. the little pot -- Item To his Son in Law Wm. Cannell his Best black Coat as legacy -- Item to his son in Law Robt. Killey a Coat, Vest & Breeches as Legacy -- Item He declared that his daughters Mary & Ellinr. wanted to be satisfied for their Mothers goods, and as for Mary she never got any part thereof but that Ellinr. got somethings. Item He desired that his Exs.should satisfie these for the same, in Case there should be efforts to pay them after his own Debts. Item He declared that his son John was paid his part of his Mothers goods -- Item He left the Bedstocks to the Heir of sd. ??, in Case he would be easy & not Con tend w?. his Exs., otherwise in Case he would be Conten tious, he left the sd. Bedstocks to be sold by his Exs. Item He declared that the Heirs Corbs was paid that he left them in his son Philips house as he recd. them from his father -- Item He left six pence each to the witnesses & lastly nomminated his sd. son Wm. Cannell for ???? fifteen shillings ?? waves the Law -- May 20, 1751 Wm. Quayle enters a Claim agst. the Exrs. of Jon. Cannell for 5 shills. & waves the Law. At KK Michael May 20th 1751 L.b.??? Anno 1750 | wm. Quayle enters a Claim agst. the Exrs. of John Cannel for five shills. & waives the Law -- May 21 1751 The Claiments having proved the sum of four shills. Order'd that the same be Discharged by Jn. Cannell's Ex~ ????? RoRadcliffe KK Patrick July 7th 1750 John Cannell late of KK Michl. having in his last Will bequeathed unto his Son in Law RoKilley a Coat Vest & Breeches as legacy which upon trial appears to be yet unsatisfied. Wm. Cannell Exsd. of the sd. John is hereby Ordered to discharge the said legacy. Otherwise he is to be Committed in St. Germans until he submits to Law & pays all Fees -- Dat ut supra -- RoRadcliffe To the Sumn. of KK Michl. who if disobeyed is to desire the Assistance of a Soldier KK Patrick July 7th 1750 John Cannell late of KK Michl. having in his last Will left unto Joney Siekins his Grandaughter a Coverlet, Blanket & a little pot in lieu & full satisfaction for Wages due to the said Joney by the Dec'd, which the Exsd. now present acknowledge, he has not yet Satisfied -- William Cannell the Exed. is hereby Ordered to discharge the same which if he neglects or refuses he is to be Comitted in St. Germans until he Submitts and pays all Fees -- RoRadcliffe To the Sumn. of KK Michl. who if disobeyed is to desire the Assistance of a Soldier Anno Dom1750 Michael June 14th 1750.
