28 Jurby The last will and testament of Margaret the wife of Philip Kewish who departed this life in the beginning of February last. She committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. She left to her son Edmond a sheep To her daughter Mary a sheep To her daughter Ann a yearling To her daughter Isable her part of share of the sheep that Wm Kissage had in keeping To her daughter Jane an yearling besides the sheep named on herself with what would make her a gown and petticoat of the stuff it was in the house, and all her shaped cloathes to the children to cloath them. Her shares to her daughter Mary. She lastly constituted and appointed her loving husband sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immovable whatsoever and the children to his own care. Six pence a piece to the witnesses to her will. Witnesses Wm Kewen Jon Kelly Jurati At a Chapter Court at KK Michael May 20 1751 The executor is sworn in court in form of law and has the tuition of the children and their goods pursuant to the will. He has given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely William Kewen and Jon Kelly the witnesses of the will. William Tear the next relation on the mother's side is sworn overseer.
