The last will and testament of Gilbert Corlett of KK Michael who
departed this life about the beginning of May anno dni 1753 being of perfect
mind and memory at the making hereof.
First he committed his soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item he left unto his wife Cooney Corlett an heifer going in two years of
age, together with the chest which she brought to the house and her
little spinning wheel as legacy.
Item He left six pence legacy to any person that could legally pretend to
his goods.
Item six pence legacy to the witnesses and declared that his son Gilbert
Corlett had no demand to make for husbandry gear or crop and that the crop
should be the best help for discharging his debts and lastly he nominated
and appoint his sons John and Wm Executors of all the rest
with his son Thomas co equal with them in whatever remains after the debts
are paid.

At a Chapter Court in KK Michael Jun 5 1753 Thos one of the executors being
under age the other two are sworn to bring to the Registry a
perfect inventory as also for payment of debts according to law -  they are
also sworn supervisors and have given pledges namely Patrick Cain and Wm
Quayle the witnesses of the will
