In the name of God Amen. I John Lace of the parish 
above said sick in body but of sound mind and memory 
praised be God for it do make my last will and testament as follows:
First I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item:  I bequeath to my daughter Joney the sum of 
forty pounds which I give my word for to her as dowry 
four pounds thereof already paid her. 
Item: I further leave to my daughter an in calf heifer 
when she goes to Regaby besides what is already named on herself.
Item I leave to my son William with the consent of 
my wife a parcel of intack called Radcliffe Close with 
what belongs to me in the general greater curragh as 
legacy after his mother's decease besides what is
already named on himself.
Item:  I leave to my daughter Jane the sum of seventy 
pounds legacy to be paid when her mother sees fit.
Lastly I nominate and appoint my loving wife my lawful 
executrix of all the rest of my goods movable and 
unmovable whatsoever.  In witness hereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name the day and year above 
written (January 17th 1751) and legacies namely 
Capt Danl Lace and the Revd Mr Allen.  
The widow hath also given her consent as more fully 
expressed in the within will that her share of Radcliffe 
Close together with what belongs to her in the Ten 
Groate Curragh shall descend unto her son William after her deceased.

Note:  There is paid sum of thirty pounds to my son in law 
John Kneal of his wifes above mentioned as legacy.
John Kneal acknowledged that he had received the sum of 
thirty four pounds in part of the dowry promised Ann by 
his deceased father in law Capt Jon Lace
