The last will and testament of Jane Allen als Cowile of Peeltown who 
departed this life the 26th of January 1755, being in perfect mind & 
memory at the making hereof.  
First, she committed her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian burial.  
Secondly, she left to JONY CLARK WIFE TO PHILIP CLARK two blankets, a caddow, 
three petticoats, a piece of linen cloth web that was in her chest and two old pots.  
Item, she left to THOMAS CLUCAS'S DAUGHTER two petticoats viz, the brown & striped.  
Item, she left to ANNE NEAL her little wheel.  
Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving NEPHEW WILLIAM OATES to be whole 
and sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever, 
excluding any other that may pretend to claim further right with six pence legacy apiece.

John Mylechreest, 
Phillip Clark.    

AT A CHAPTER COURT HELD IN PEELTOWN February 21st, 1755, 
the executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for payment 
of debts and legacies vizt., Mr. Thomas Clark and John Fairbrother
