This is affirmed to be the Last Will & Testament of Ann: Kermott als
Skillicorn of the parish of KK Lonnon who departed this Life about the 5th
of March 1755 — being of perfect mind and memory at the makeing hereof
first she committed her Soul unto God and her body to Christian burial
Item She Left & bequeathed unto her two children three pounds of cash vizt
ten shillings thereof unto the boy James kermod and the other Fifty shills
unto the gerl Jane
She Left the Blankett that was about the child unto her mother
Itm She Left six pence Legacy unto any person that might claim any right or
title to her goods or effects hereafter
Lastly she nominated and appointed her Husband Daniell Kermott whole Execr
of all the Rest of her goods both moveable & immoveable of what kind or
nature so ever

At a Chapter Court held at Douglas June 9th 1755
The Execr is sworn in Court in form of Law and undertakes the tuition of
the Children and their Goods which is accordingly Comitted unto him to
which end as also for paymt of Debts he has given pledges vizt Pat: Killip
& Wm Kelly
