44           Bride
This is affirmed to be the last will and 
testament of Danl Christian of KK Bride, 
who departed this life in the month of 
Decr 1755 being of sound mind and memory 
at the making and declaring hereof some 
few days before his decease.  
First he committed his soul to God and 
his body to Christian burial.  
Item, He left to his loving wife Christian 
Christian alias Howlin all the goods that 
came by herself together with a little pott 
and pott hooks of his own goods.  
He likewise left to his said wife half of 
the crop of corn which was in the Haggard 
and half of the potatoes.  
Lastly, He left and bequeathed to his two 
daughters Margt and Mary Christian all 
the rest of his goods moveable and 
immoveable of what kind or nature soeber.

At a Chapter Court held 
at Lezaire, June 15th 1756
 The Executrices being underage, the uncles 
 namely Patrick & Wm Xtian on ... to bring 
 to the Registry a perfect Inventory of 
 the goods of the Deceased according to Law, 
 and have the tuition of the children with 
 their goods committed to them, & whereas 
 the widow alleges in Court that she is 
 with child & no provision made for the 
 posthume by the Testator, the same hereafter 
 is to be decreed joint Administrator.  
 They have given pledges for payment of 
 debts and legacies, Wm Cowle Sumnr & John 
 Cottier one of the witnesses of the Will.
