This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Jane Skillicorn als
Quay of Kk Lonan who departed this Life about the 26th of Septbr (?)1756
Being of perfect Mind and Memory at the making hereof
First she committed her Soul unto God and her Body to Christian [B]urial
Item She left to her Daughter Jane her Hudd
Itm she left her Daughter Issabel a petticoat
Itm she left to her Daughter Joney a Petticoat
Itm she left to her son William a Blankett
Itm she left to her Daughter Cathrie Ten shillings
Itm she left to her Daughter Bessy Ten shillings Petticoat which Ten
shillings Her son John Skillicorn was to pay
Itm She left to her son Henry her part of the Loom with the Gears belonging
thereto
Itm she left to her GrandDaughter that was with her in the House a
petticoat of the pladgin (?) and Her share of a sheep
Itm She left her part of the House and Garden in Laxey to her [ ? ] Husband
John Skillicorn to be at his own disposal
Itm she left with the Consent of her Husband to her Son John Moaney
Botching(?) upon [..?..] the consideration of paying the above sd Ten
shillings to one of sd Daughters
She left Sixpense apiece to any Person might Claim any right to her effects
Lastly she nominated and appointed Her above Husband John Skillicorn and
her Daughter Dorothy sole Execrs of all the rest of her Go[.....]
immoveable of what kind and nature soever

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas Novr 15 1756 John Skillicorn the
widower consents that his son John shall immediately possess his part of
Moaney Botchin as well as the Decd's part, he the sd John paying the Ten
shills wi [.....]enioned whereupon the Exrs are sworn in Court in form of
Law & have given pledges for paymt of Debts and Legacies namely Philip
Kewley junr & Willm Kelly both of Kk Lonan
