Lezayre

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of William Garrett of Lezayre who 
departed this life ____ August last past being at perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.
Item,   He committed his soul to God and his body to a Christian burial.
Item ,  He left to his two sons William and Thomas Garrett part of the cash equally between them.
Item,   To his son John Garrett three shillings. 
Item, and lastly he nominated and appointed his loving wife Isable Garrett whole and lawful Eztx of  
all the rest of his goods movable and immovable whatsoever.
To the witnesses six pence each.

  At a chapter Court holden at Lezayre November 22nd 1756____
 Whereas there is some ambiguity in the Testaters Expression with regard to what 
 part of the cash he left to his children William & Thomas ~  Isable the Widow 
 consents that the whole of the Deads part of the cash shall be due & payable to 
 the sd. Children;_ She also undertakes the tuition of the Deads part of sd. 
 Children & their goods & is thereupon sworn Exwecrt in Caurt in form of law & 
 hath given pledges for payment of debts & legacies namely John Kneale & Edmd Crow both of Lezayre.
Thomas Garrett & Ro. Calcott the Uncles are sworn Supervisors in form of law.

regrs & acknowledged to have recd. From his mother Isable by the hands of Robt 
Calcot all the goods and chattels due unto him by the death of his sd. Father 
whereby aquits his sd. Mother & all others of the same_ witnesses his mark to his name
					Wm Garret his x mark
