Top of page illegible (black) This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Daniel Fargher of KK Lonnan who departed this life on or about the first of June last being of sound and perfect mind and memory at the making hereof ---------- First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian Burial Item – He left and bequeathed unto his Dear daughter Anne his Croft and Houses purchased of Nichls Kelly to which Anne the wife of this testator gave her consent on the following conditions – that is, that their aforesd Daughter Anne should not possess or enjoy any part of the said Croft or Houses till she arrived at the age of twenty seven years – and then “....” then to possess one half only, she paying unto her other sisters the sum of four pounds equal between them, and the other half of the said Croft and Houses she was immediately to possess at the death of her mother, and then the [property] to pass and run in the nature of Inheritance, She paying the further sum of four pounds to her said sisters in manner aforesaid. Item He left unto his daughter Margaret a sheep and a lamb – Item he left all his Goods and Effects unto his wife Anne Fargher, she paying unto his four daughters Margaret, Ellinor, Bahey And Elizabeth the sum of four pounds equally between them “................................” and like wise that his said wife should pay his funeral expenses – and lastly he nominated his daughters Anne and Margt Exetxs to this his last Will and Testament Witnesses William Lawson x | Jurati John Fargher x | At a Court of Correction holden in Douglas Feb 14 1757 The Execrs are sworn in court in form of Law and have given pledges for payments of Debts and Legacies namely John Fargher Baldrine and William Lawson.
