28     Bride
The last will and testament of JOHN HOWLAND of KK Bride 
who departed this life about 16th January being of sound  
mind and memory at the making thereof.  
First he committed his soul to God and body to Christian burial.  
Item, he left to his BROTHER THOS. HOWLAND all his cloaths.  
Item, he left to his SISTER ISABLE HOWLAND all his sheep.  
Item, he left seven pence legacy to every of his 
BROTHERS AND SISTERS.  
Lastly he appointed his loving MOTHER MARGT HOWLAND whole 
Executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever and seven pence each to the 
witnesses of his will.  
Witnesses: 
John Howland, 
Ann Cowle, jurati.             

AT A COURT OF CORRECTION holden at Lezayre Feb 27, 1758
The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law & 
hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies 
namely, John Howland the witness and Ewan Moore, Sumner.  

Solvit 12d, Probatum est.
