The last Will and Testament of Daniel Teare
of KK Andreas who departed this life about the
beginning of April last being of sound mind and
memory at the making hereof about a fortnight ~
before his decease. First he committed his soul to
God and his body to Christian burial. Item he left
and bequeathed to Joney Teare his daughter all his
Houses, Gardens and Haggard, Balla-Quayn and the
parcell of Land called the Lough to which …….(black)
the testators wife gave her consent to give her
part of all the premises aforesd to the sd Joney  their
Daughter (after her, the sd Ellinor's decease) she the sd
Joney paying forty shillings to their youngest Daughter
Catherine Tear. The Testator also left to his sd
Daughter Joney all the Husbandry Gears, a Horse,
all the sheep that was named upon herself and
a Quarter of the Cropp. Item He left and bequeathed
to his Daughter Margt Tear all his part of the
Lands called the Dowin. But in case his aforesd Daughter
Joney would pay the sum of ten pounds to sd Margt
then she the sd Joney was to have the sd Lands of the
Dowin. He also left to his sd daughter Margt a heifer
and a sheep and a lamb; Item He left to his Daughter
Ellinor Tear his part of a parcel of Land in Lezaire
called Cottier's Close and Ellinor his sd wife gave her
consent to give her part of sd Cottiers Close after her
decease to their daughter Ellinor free and debtless. Item He likewise
left to his sd Daughter Ellinor a calf going in a year old
and a sheep and a lamb. Item He left to his Daughter
Catherine Tear a Heifer (called Doanag) and a sheep
and a Lamb. Item He left to his sister Alice Tear
a potatoe-Butt and the benefit of a House during
her natural life. Lastly he nominated and
appointed Ellinor Tear his loving wife sole
exectrx of all the rest of his goods movable and
immovable whatsoever and six pence apiece to the
witnesses of this his Will.

At a chapter court holden at Lezaire June 12 1758 Ellinor the relict has given her 
consent that her part of the bequest made to Joney the daughter and Ellinor the 
other daughter by the testator shall fall and desend unto them as more fully 
expressed in the within will whereupon the exec the widow is sworn exec in court 
in form of law and hath given pledged for payment of debts and legacies namely 
Andrew Kneale and Philip Fargher the witnesses aforesaid . Probatum est
