William Lace – Ballavarry   Andreas


This is the last will and Testament of 
William Lace of Balla-varry in the parish of Kk Andreas
Who departed this life on or about the 29th day of  August
1758 being at the time of the making of his sd (said) last Will 
and Testament of sound and disposing mind and memory

First 	He committed his sold to God and his body to Christian
Burial

He left and bequeathed to his daughter Margaret four
 score pounds -  to his Daughter  Joney threescore pounds
To his daughter Margery, three score pounds, 
and to Mrs Allen five pounds

he left and appointed his loving wife Anne Lace Extr. 
Of all th rest of his goods.  He left bequeathed an English
Half Crown to each of the witnesses of his will

I Wm Racliffe husband of Marjery Lace one of the daughters of the within Test. 
Wm Lace of Ballavarry do hereby acknowledge to have received from Ann Lace the Execr.  
My mother in law, the sum of Three score pounds in full of the legacy bequeathed 
unto my sd. Wife and do hereby acquit and discharge the sd. Execr. All other of this same
