Whereas that I Isabel Clucas als Taylor widow of Billiown 
in the parish of KK Malew, for the love and affection I 
now have unto my son Henry Clucas I do hereby gift grant 
and assign unto him my said son by a delivery of apart 
of the said goods unto him, all my chattels, cattle, 
goods and effects moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, 
all what goods there is I freely give unto my said son 
Henry Clucas as a Deed of Gift now in present possession, 
he the aforesaid son do hereby bind and oblige himself 
his heirs Executors and assigns to maintain his said 
mother in meat, drink, washing and lodging during her 
natural life, besides allowing his said mother twenty 
shillings yearly and every year for her pocket during 
her life, and for performance of the above Deed of Gift 
and obligation both parties herein concerned do hereby 
bind and oblige themselves the one to the other in and 
under the penalty of twenty pounds to be paid in the 
nature of all fines according to law as witness their 
names and marks this 16th February 1754.

Will McYlchreest and John Vondy the subscribing witnesses 
to the above Deed of Gift made oath before the Evangelists 
that Isabel Clucas duly executed the same in their presence, 
Henry Clucas acknowledged the same to be his proper xxxx. 
Before me John Taubman. 

At a Chapter Court held at 
Castletown May 30th, 1789
The within Deed of Gift having been acknowledged before 
the Deemster, the same is accepted for the last will of 
Isabel Clucas, whereupon Henry Clucas is sworn Executor 
in Court according to Law, and hath given pledges for 
payment of debts and legacies, namely Robert Christian 
Sumner & John Costean, both of Arbory.
