     Ballaugh 1760 
This is affirmed by the Subscribing Wit- 
nesses to be the last Will and Testament 
of Mary Corlet als Christian Wife of John 
Corlet who departed this Life on the 21st of 
January, Anno predicto, in perfect Mind and 
Memory at the making hereof. 
Having committed her Soul to God and Body 
to Christian Burial, She dispossed of her Effects 
as follows. -- 

She bequeathed to her loving Husband John Corlet 
her Part of the Heifer, and two heads of black 
Cattle intirely, together with her part of the Crop 
Hemp and Meal and Victuals in the House excepting a 
Crock of Butter which She reserv'd for her Exrs. 
hereafter named, or the Price thereof. -- 

To her Maid Servant Jane Corlet her Husbs.Niece 
a Sheep, and the Rest of the Sheep to her Said 
Husband, except four of them She reserved for her 
Excuters. 
To her Maid Servant aforesd.what wou'd be a Petti- 
coat of the ?ledding Cloath in the House, wth.6 or 
7 Handfulls of the beaten Flax. 
She also defin'd her Said Husband to take his Choice 
of the Beds. And left him her Part of the Loose 
while he lived. And also her Part of Clossese Vaily 
during his Lifetime. 

At a Court of Correction held at KK Michael March 25th.1760
Richard Christian & Ann Christian both of the Kingdom of 
Ireland the Execrs.mentioned in the foregoing Will 
havingby Deed of Registration & Assignment bearing date 
the 22d.Inst.relinquished the Executorship unto John Corlet 
their Brother in Law, for & in Consideration of the Sum of 
Thirteen Pounds each, besides paying all Legacies mentioned 
in sd.Will together with the Funeral Charges of the Testrx.as ? 
at large appears by sd.Deed of Registration -- whereupon 
said John Corlet is Sworn for Payment of the Debts and 
Legacies of the Testrx.& has given pledges in form of Law 
namely Philip Gwan ? ? ? the Witnesses 
of the Will.
Solvit 12d.    Probatum est RoRadcliffe MattCurghey 

At a Court of Correction held at KK Michael P 
March 24th.1760 
Richard Christian, one of the Exc'd mentioned in the 
within Will came this day and acknowledged to be fully 
satisfied and paid by John Corlet husband of the Testatrix 
the Sum of thirteen pounds in full for his Share or proper 
? of the Exedor.ship - which her ? distinguished to the 
said John Corlet as appears by Deed bearing Date the 
22d.March.1760 and does hereby aquit exonerate & 
discharge the sd.Corlet and his Exedor.for ever for the

Lezayre 25th.May 1763 -- This day Anne Christian 
of Englishtown near Shangford in the County of Down & Kingdom 
of Ireland Sister & one of the Exrs.of Mary Corlet als 
Christian late Wife of John Corlet of Ballaugh, came this 
To her Niece Abigal's eldest Daughter and 
Niece Esther's eldest Daughter both of Ireland, four 
Pounds each. And to sd.Abigal's Son by her 
Husband also of Ireland, Three Pounds. 
To the Witnesses hereof One Shilling each. 
And nominated and constituted her Brother - 
Richard Christian, and her Sister Anne Christian 
of Ireland, joint Exectors of all the Rest of the 
Effects moveable and immoveable, if both living or 
otherwise, if one of them be dead, the other living 
be sole ExecutorAnd in case they are both dead 
her Said Nieces Abigal and Esther Daughters of her Bro- 
ther John Christian decd.were nominated and constituted 
her Executors of the Rest of her Effects afforsd. ~
