34 Braddan This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of ANN CANNELL, OTHERWISE MOORE WIFE OF PHILIP CANNELL of Balykeermen, who being of perfect sound mind and memory the tenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty. First, she recommended her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. 2ndly, she left and bequeathed to her SON WILLIAM CORRAN her half of the sheep now in his own keeping and forty shillings legacy. 3rdly, she left and bequeathed to her SON PAUL CORRAN the house wherein he now lives with all the yard and cellar thereto belong as the same is now possessed by the said PAUL CORRAN he paying, to her SON ROBERT CORRAN the sum of thirty pounds Manks currency for leaving the said house and concerns wholly to himself. 4thly, she left and bequeathed to her SON JOHN CANNELL her half of the house wherein CHARLES CANNON HIS WIDOW now lives in with the yard and shed thereto belonging. 5thly, she left to the poor of the Parish of KK Braden the sum of forty shillings currency aforesaid to be divided among them as her SON PAUL CORRAN should think proper. 6thly, she left and bequeathed to MARGARET CANNELL now in the house with her, twenty shillings legacy currency aforesaid. 7thly, she left and bequeathed to her said SON JOHN CANNELL ten pounds currency aforesaid legacy to be paid by her Executors hereafter names. And lastly, she revoked and declared null and void all other wills by her made and this to be her last will, and thereof appointed her loving HUSBAND PHILIP CANNELL of Balykermeen the elder, and said PAUL CORRAN HER SON, whole and sole Executors of all her Estate real and person of every sort with directions to them to pay six pence legacy to every person who would appear lawfully entitled to the same, and desired us the subscribing witnesses to bear mind and witness the same on the eleventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty.
