In the name of God Amen – The last Will
and Testament of Isable Creer als Fayle of KK
Braddan who departed this life about the 10th
of Septr 1760 is as followeth – She being weak
in Body but of perfect memory Comitted her
Soul to God and her Mortal Body to the Earth
and to be decently buried after a Christian
manner and as for her worldly Effects She
bequeathed them as Follows –
Imprimis: She bequeathed all her worldly goods of
    What kindsoever unto her loving husband
    Gilbt Creer and Ordained Constituted and nom
    =inated him Whole and Sole Execr this we do
    affirm to be the last will and Testamt of the
    above Isable Creer.  Witnesses our hands
    this 4th of October 1760 –

At a Chapter Court holden in Douglas Novr 3rd 1760
The Testrx having left neither Six pence nor the value
thereof to her Children, namely Danl & Thos Creer & they
having severally declared upon oath they neither received six pence
nor the value of six pence by way of Dowry from Father
or mother, they the sd Danl & Thos are Decreed Co-Exrs
with their father – Willm having relinquished any
right he has to the Execrs to his father
and Paul Philip & John the other sons refusing to declare upon
oath whether they received any Dowry – whereupon
Gilbt Creer the widower with Daniel & Thos aforesd
Are sworn Co-Exrs in form of Law, & have given pledges
For paymt of Debts & Legacies namely Mr. Thos Christian
Ballahutchin & Nichs Quirk of KK Braddan –
