The Last Will & Testament of Daniel Joughin of the parish of
Maughold who departed this life about the 26th [Jan'ry] 1760
being __ in mind & memory. First he Committed his Soul
to God & Body to Christian Burial

Item He left to his sister [Marg't] Kermeen his half of the
Cow that was between them, which she s'd Marg't had in her own
keeping with the sum of ten shillings Legacy.

Item He left to his Daughter Isabel five shillings
Item He Left to his sister in law Christian [Stephen] five
shillings; and also left six pence Legacy to any person
that would claim any Right to his Goods and a shilling
Eng'sh to the Witnesses of this his Will.

Lastly He Constituted nominated & appointed his [dear] and
Loving wife Mary Joughin als [Stephen] whole & Sole
Executrix of all the rest of his goods Being of what
kind or nature soever.

The Exec'x is sworn in Court in form of Law & hath given
pledges for payment of Debts & Legacies namely John

Marg't Corlett als Kermeen acknowledged to have 
rec'd & to be full paid the half of the Cow & the sum of Ten
shillings a Legacy bequeathed her by her Brother Daniel
Joughen & she doth hereby acquit release discharge the Ex'r
of s'd Dan'l Joughen of s'd Legacy & every part thereof as witness
her mark to her Name ye day & date above written

Isabel Joughen Daughter of the within Testator Daniel
Joughen acknowledged to have rec'd & be fully paid the Sum
of five shillings a Legacy bequeathed her by the last
will & Testam't of her s'd Father & she doth hereby acquit
release & discharge the Ex'r of her s'd Father of s'd Legacy & of
every part thereof Witness her mark to her Name the day &
date before written.
