In the name of God amen. I James Kelley weak and feeble in body: but of
sound and perfect memory, Blessed be God for the Same, do make this my last
will and Testament in manner and form following,
first   I commit my soul to God, who gave it and my Body to Christian Burial
hoping through the merits of Christ Jesus my Saviour & Redeemer to obtain
full and free pardon of all my Sins
Itm     I leave to my Daughter Ellinor Kelley twenty pounds
Itm     I leave to my son James Kelley three pounds that is in Finlo Clauges
hands with the Interest due from him and I leave to my sd son three pounds
more in monney
Itm     I leave to my aforesd Daughter Ellinor a feather Bed and Bolster to
Become due to her after her mothers Decease
Itm     I leave to my stepson William Kewley my share of the flock of sheep in
the Mountains that is between John Oates of Kk Conchan and I
Lastly  I do Constitute ordain and appoint my beloved Wife Ellinor Kelley
als Clauge whole and sole Extr of all the rest of my goods moveable and
immoveable whatsoever   In Testimony whereof I have to my name put my mark
this 15th of June 1761

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 16th Nov 1761 The Exectr is sworn in
Court in form of Law & hath given pledges for the payment of Debts &
Legacies, namely John Oates & Wm Quayle the Witnesses of the Will

I do hereby certifie that I have Received of and from the Hands of my
mother Elinor Kelly of the Parish of Lonnan the sum of Twenty Pounds manks
currency Together with a feather Bed and Bolster being a Legacy Devised
unto me by the Last will and Testament of my Deceased father James Kelly
whose wife said Elinor Kelly my mother was nominated Executrix by his Last
will Dated the 15th June 1761   And I Do hereby acquit and fully Discharge
my said mother of the above said legacies her Execrs admrs & assigns and
every of them forever by these Presents as Witness my name hereunto
subscribed this 13th of Agust 1800
