Andrews 65 The last will & testment of Catherin Lawson alias Quirk who departed this life in January last past and was in perfect & sound mind & memory at the making of it. She comitted her sould to God & body to Christian burial. Itt. To four of her children Bahee, Ann, Margt & James Lawson she bequeath'd ten shillings each - and said withall that her clotheing or apparell shou'd be equally between them daughters & that they should not strive about it. Itt. To her son John she bequeath'd her partthe parcelof Martin's Chappell & desired her husband David Lawson to consent to give his part thereof also, to which he said he wou'd upon condicon he shou'd enjoy the whole during his life-time. Lastly she nominated and appointed her foresd husband David Lawson her true and lawful Execr of all the rest of her goods movable & unmovable whatsoever. Witnesses John Kneale } James Lawson } Jurati At a Chapter Court hoden at Lezayre 7thJulJune 1762 The Execr is sweorn in Court in form of law & consents to give his part of the Land mention'd in the above Will to his son John upon the condition specified in the sd Will - He hath also given pledges for the paymt of debts & legacies namely John Kneale & James Lawson of Andrew's witnesses of the Will.
