The Last Will & Testament of Daniel Corkil of the parish of KK
Maughold who Departed this Life about the 16th Sepr 1759 Being
Of Sound mind & memory. First he comitted his soul to God and
Body to Christian Burial
Item he left to his son William ten shillings Legacy
Item he left to his loving wife forty shills Legacy
Lastly he constituted & appointed his Loving wife Mary Corkil
als Kerruish & his daughter Isabel Corkil sole & whole
Exectrx's of all the rest of his Goods & Chattles of what
kind or Denomination soever
Wittnesses present
     Margaret Christian my mk X } Jurati
     Christian Callow my mk X    }

And the Testator further declared that Willm Christian Senr
of Ballberson owed him four pounds & that his Brother
Willm Corkil owed him fifthteen shillings

At a Court of Correction held at Lezayre
the 26th March 1760

The Execxrs are sworn in Court in form of Law and
hath given pledges for payment of Debts & Legacies
vizt The Revd Mr Woods Vicar & Capt. Wm Christian.
The Widow consents that her daughter Isabel shall
have half of the fourty shillings bequeathed _
her by the Testator.
