The last will & Testamt of William Garret of the parish of KK Andrews, 
who departed this life abt the 4th day of March 1763, being of perfect mind & 
memory at the making thereof.     
Ffirst He comitted his soul to God & his body to Christian burial.    
Itm, He left to his son John Garret all & singular his lands from the place 
called Corlish-yarg to the place where his house is, to descent as heirship 
to his sd son after his mother’s decease, and that his loveing wife vizt: 
sd John Garret’s mother is to have & enjoy the sd lands during her natural life, 
And in case his sd wife shall have occasion to cut any Tree or the Trees that 
is in the garden for her own use, vizt, for a plough’s use or the like that 
then she is at liberty to take whatsoever is necessary for her.     
Itm, He left his part or share of a little heifer to his sd son John Garret.     
Itm, He left to his son Phillip Garret nine or ten shillings.     
Itm, He left to his son William Garret seven pence that was in the hand of 
Thos ffaragher.     Lastly He nominated & appointed his loveing wife Joney Garret 
alias Christian, And his daughter Ann Garret joint Executrixs of all the rest 
of his goods moveable & unmoveable whatsoever,   To the witnesses of this will 
he left a shilling each.
