John Kinley Knock doo Malew 1763-1  A-16

John Kinley of Knock doo in the parish of KK Malew his will by word of Mouth made 
and Declared by him about the Eighteenth day of December last in the presence of 
us who have herewith Subscribed our Names as witnesses hereto – 

He committed his Soul to God and his Body to Christian Burial.

Item.   He Declared that his Eldest Son Thos Kinley stood indebted unto him in 
the Sum of Twenty four pounds for and on account of the Deed of Settlement he had 
given him of his Estate; four pounds of said sum he acknowledges to have Received 
in Rent out of Thos’ Estate and the Remaining Sum of Twenty he gave and Bequeathed 
equally between his Son John Kinley and his Daughter Isabelle Kinley.

Item.	He Gave and Bequeathed to his Son James Kinley the Sum of Twenty pounds and 
the oak chest which stood in his work shop and in case his Eldest Son Thos Kinley 
should Recover the said Chest as a ??????, then and in that case he further Bequeathed 
to his said son James Kinley the Big Chest that stood in the Mansion House.

Item.	He Bequeathed to his Daughter Ellinor Kinley the sum of Twenty pounds.

Item.	He Gave and Bequeathed to his Daughter Joney Kinley the sum of Twenty pounds 
and the Bed and Bed clothes whereon he ???? lay as it stood.

Item.	He declared that he stood indebted unto his Brother Wm Kinley in the Sum of 
sixteen pounds and in case his said Brother should Sur for and Recover the same, 
then and in such case the said Sum of Sixteen pounds was to be equally paid by his 
five Children John Kinley, Isabelle Kinley, James Kinley, Ellinor Kinley and Joney 
Kinley out of the legacys above bequeathed unto them.

Lastly.	He Nominated, Constituted and appointed Robt Shimin Executor of his said 
Will and Residuary legatee of all the Rest of his Goods and Effects moveable and 
immoveable of what nature or kind soever.
