46          Rushen, 1764
The last will and testament of Margt Crebbin of 
the Parish of Trinity Rushen who depated this 
life the 25th day of March 1764. 
First, she commended her soul to God and her 
body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left and bequeathed to her niece Elizth 
Crebbin a black gown, a pot and a strip’d stampt 
apron. 
Itm, she left and bequeathed to Elizth Moore als 
Corrin ten shillings, and her big chist. 
Itm, she left to her sister Ann Gell als Crebbin 
a guinea which she, the Testatrix, had sometime 
ago lent to the said Anne Gell and deprived her 
from any claim to her effects with leaving her 
six pence legacy besides.  
Lastly, she nominated, constituted, and appointed 
her loving brother John Crebbin sole Executor of 
all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable, 
depriving all other persons that might pretend a 
right to her goods with six pence legacy each.

At a Chapter Court holden at 
Castletown Octr 4, 1764
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and 
hath given pledges for payment of debts and legacies 
namely Wm Cooil & Wm Clucas both of Rushen.
