This is affirmed t be the last will and testament of MARGRET 
CHRISTIAN ALS CLAGUE WIFE TO WM CHRISTIAN of Caarn Eghreie in 
the parish of KK Patrick who departed this life about the 8th 
of March 1764 being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof.  
First She committed her soul to Almighty God and her 
body to Christian burial.  
Ittm, She left her part of all the purchased lands unto her 
loving HUSBAND WM CHRISTIAN during his natural lifetime and 
then to descend unto her two DAUGHTERS MARY CHRISTIAN and 
ALICE CHRISTIAN equally between them after the death of 
their father the sd WM CHRISTIAN.  
Ittm, She left unto her DAUGHTER JONEY the sum of forty shillings. 
Ittm, She left unto her GRANDDAUGHTER ESTHER KEY all her 
shaped clothes both linen and woolen and a little wheel.  
Ittm, she left to her DAUGHTER ELLINOAR the sum of twenty shillings.  
Ittm, She left unto her SON PHILIP CHRISTIAN the sum of five shillings.  
Lastly, She nominated and appointed her two DAUGHTERS MARY 
CHRISTIAN and ALICE CHRISTIAN whole and sole Executrixes of 
all the rest of her goods and chattels of what kindsoever 
moveable and unmoveable.

Catherine Kegg her X, juratae.                    

AT A CHAPTER COURT HOLDEN at Balnyhown June 22, 1764
The Execrs are sworn in Court in form of Law & have given pledges 
for payment of debts and legacies namely Nichs Quork & Wm Quine 
both of KK Patrick.  
Solv: 1d, Probatum est. 
Ro: Radcliffe.                    

LEZAYRE 10TH MAY 1766
I GILBT KEY of KK Patrick do hereby acknowledge to have recd at & 
from the hands of MARY CHRISTIAN & ALICE CHRISTIAN Exrs of the last 
will & testamt of my MOTHER IN LAW MARGT CHRISTIAN ALS CLAGUE the 
Testatrix within mentioned the full & just sum of forty shillings 
which was left & bequeathed unto my WIFE JONEY KEY ALS CHRISTIAN 
by her sd MOTHER MARGT CHRISTIAN, and I do hereby release acquit & 
discharge the sd MARY CHRISTIAN & ALICE CHRISTIAN MY SISTERS IN LAW 
their exrs, admrs, & assigns thereof for ever, as Witness my mark to 
my name the day & date above written.  
GILBT KEY my mark X.

I ELEANOR CHRISTIAN DAUGHTER of the within named MARGT CHRISTIAN do 
hereby acknowledge to have recd at & from the hands of my SISTERS 
MARY CHRISTIAN & ALICE CHRISTIAN the full and just sum of twenty 
shillings legacy which was left and bequeathed unto me by my MOTHER 
MARGT CHRISTIAN, and I do hereby release acquit & discharge my said 
SISTERS MARY & ALICE CHRISTIAN their Exrs, Adminrs and Assigns thereof 
forever, as Witness my mark to my name this day & date above written, 
ELEANR CHRISTIAN my mark X.
