     Santan 1765
In the name of God Amen.
I Paul Crebbin Clerk Vicar of the parish of KK St Ann being weak in body
but of sound mind memory and understanding and considering the certainty of
death and the uncertainty of the time when; do make and publish this my last
will and testament in manner and form following;
First I commit my soul to God and body to Christian burial hoping for
mercy through the merit and mediation of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and
forgiveness of all my sins.
I give and bequeath unto the poor of the parish of Kirk St Ann the sum of
forty shillings which together with the sum of three pounds and ten shilling
already in my hands belonging to the said poor I could wish were both placed
out at interest in one entire sum for the benefit of the said poor.
I give and bequeath unto my sons Thomas Crebbin and Charles Crebbin the sum
of one hundred pounds a piece to be unto them paid two years after my
decease.
I give and bequeath unto my son William Crebbin the sum of twenty four
shillings and six pence.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Crebbin the sum of ten pounds.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my truly loving and affectionate
wife Jane Crebbin executrix of this my will and residuary legatee of all
the rest of my goods and effects moveable and immoveable of what nature or
kinds soever.  In witness whereof I have to this my last will
and testament  subscribed my name this 7th June 1763.    Paul Crebbin

Codicil to the before going will.
Be it remembered that I the within named testator Paul Crebbin being of
sound mind and memory at the making do by this my codicil to my last
will and testament by me made dated the 7th of June 1763 as within
mentioned, which said will is ---------- and published by me in the
presence of the subscribing witness ------ further will and declare that
(whereas I have by my said will bequeathed unto my son Thomas Crebbin the
sum of one hundred pounds Manks) my said son Thomas Crebbin shall not be
entitled to received the said legacy of one hundred pounds nor any part
hereof except six pence legacy unless my said son Thomas Crebbin shall come
over to the big island in person to received the same and if he cannot
conveniently do so then unless my said son Thomas Crebbin shall first make
affidavit before some public Judge or Magistrate at the he is then alive and
shall give sufficient power or authority to some person or persons to
received the sum to his use and in case my executrix shall
have any cause to suspect the any person or person shall have personated the
said Thos Crebbin the making such affidavit or power for that
purpose then it shall be necessary for the said Thos Crebbin to write a
letter under his own hand advising my said executrix of his --------
then alive and of his giving such power or authority to any other person
to enable him or her to received the same and it is my further will that
in case my said son Thos Crebbin shall not  comply with the aforesaid
condition or shall happen to die without lawfull issue before me then I
give and bequeath the said sum of one hundred pounds share and share alike
to my son The Rev Charles Crebbin and my daughter Jane Crebbin. In witness
whereof I have subscribed my name this ninth day of April one thousand seven
