Jurby 82 The last will & testament of Patrick Brew of Jurby, is he departed this life on ye sevend day of March 1765 being of perfect mind & memory at ye making hereof. First, he committed his soul to God & his body to christian burial Also, he left & bequeathed unto his daughter Christian half a guinea Also, he bequeathed to his son Philip half a guinea Also, he bequeathed to his daughter Catherine one shilling & two pence Also, he left to his son Patrick one shilling & two pence Also, he left to his son Robert his great saw Also, he left & bequeathed all his right & title unto all & whatever lands he held & possessed unto his daughter Jane to be entered upon & possessed by her at & upon ye decease of her mother & not till then. Also, he left sixpence legacy to whoever wd claim any further right to his effects. Lastly he constituted & appointed Emmy his wife Executrix of all ye rest of his goods movable & immovable whatsoever. He left to ye witnesses of this will one shilling each { Thos Callister } Witnesses { } Jurati { Wm Corlett } At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael July 14 1765 The Execx is sworn in Court in form of law & has given pledges for payment of debts & legacies namely Thos Collister & Wm Corlett both of Jurby.
