91        Bride
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
Anne Christian wife of David Christian of the parish 
of KK Bride, who departed this life about the 20th of 
April 1765, being of perfect mind and memory at the 
making hereof. 
First, she committed her soul to God and body to 
Christian burial. 
Item, she left and bequeathed to her stepdaughter 
Margaret George Cowll’s wife one English shilling 
legacy. 
Item, she left to her daughter Cathrine the wife of 
Thomas Caistile two shillings and six pence legacy. 
Item, she left to her daughter Joney the wife of 
Dollin Radcliff one firlett of barley of the ensuing 
years crop as legacy. 
Item, she left to her granddaughters Cathrine & Easther 
Caistile one cap apiece. 
And lastly she nominated and appointed her loving 
husband David Christian whole and sole Executor 
of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable 
of what kind soever. 
Item, she left to the witnesses of this her last 
will one shilling each.

William Goldsmith.

Lezayre 12 Jun 1765
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and 
hath given pledges for the payment of debts and 
legacies namely William Christian Ballayonag and 
William Joughin junior Crosby both of KK Bride
