This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of MARGARET 
CHRISTIAN OTHERWISE MARTIN who departed this life on or about 
the 29th day of Decr 1764, being of perfect mind and memory at 
the making thereof.  First, She committed her soul to God and 
her body to Christian burial.  
Item, She left and bequeathed to her two DAUGHTERS vizt: MARGERY 
AND JANE CHRISTIAN the sum of ten pounds apiece, legacy.  
Item, She left and bequeathed to her loving HUSBAND WM CHRISTIAN 
all the rest of her goods & effects moveable and immoveable 
whatsoever but in case her sd HUSBAND shou'd marry again then 
she left the further sum of ten pounds upon him to pay to each 
of her sd two DAUGHTERS, and that they were not to enjoy their 
legacies till they wou'd arrive to lawfull age.  And she left six 
pence to each craver.

AT A COURT OF CORRECTION HOLDEN at Lezayre 13th Feb: 1764
The Execr is sworn in Court in form of Law & hath given pledges 
for the payment of debts & legacies Wm Martin & Edwd Callow both 
of Ramsey.  The FATHER by consent of the sd WM MARTIN who is sworn 
guardian of the CHILDREN both under age hath taken upon him the 
tuition of the children and their goods.  
Probatum est, Solvit 12d.

12TH XXX 1765
JOHN KISSAG & Isabel his wife enters a claim agst the exrs of [will torn away here].                          

I JANE CHRISTIAN DAUGHTER of the within Testatrix MARGT CHRISTIAN 
ALS MARTIN do hereby acknowledge to have recd from my FATHER WM CHRISTIAN 
the sum of ten pounds the same being a legacy bequeathed me by the 
last will & testamt of my MOTHER MARGT CHRISTIAN aforesd, & I do 
hereby acquit release exonerate & discharge my sd FATHER WM CHRISTIAN 
his Exrs Adms & assigns of sd legacy of ten pounds witness my hand 
this 1st Sept 1787, JANE CHRISTIAN.          

I JAMES RILEY HUSBAND OF MARJERY CHRISTIAN DAUR of the within Testatrix 
MARGT CHRISTIAN ALS MARTIN do hereby acknowledge to have recd from my 
FATHER IN LAW WM CHRISTIAN the sum of ten pounds the same being a legacy 
bequeathed my said WIFE by the last will and testament of her MOTHER 
MARGT CHRISTIAN, and I do hereby acquit release exonerate and discharge 
the said WM CHRISTIAN his exr, admrs, & assigns of sd legacy of ten pounds, 
witness my hand this 1st Sep 1787, JAMES RILEY.
