This is affirmed by the subscribing witnesses to be the last will and
testament of Cooney Corlet als Karran who departed this life about a
fortnight after Easter anno 1766 but the particular day and month the
witnesses can't recollect.
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
Secondly - She left and bequeathed unto her step son Wm Corlett a blue gown
to line a coat.
Thirdly She left also to the witnesses of this will a shilling a piece
legacy.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her daughter Elizabeth Quirk whole
and sole executrix of all the rest of her goods of what kind or nature
soever.  And six pence legacy to any person or persons that would
attempt or endeavour to get any of her effects by frustrating this her last
will and testament

At a Chapter Court holden at Kirk Michael 20th May 1766
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law, and hath given pledges
for the payment of debts and legacies namely Gilbert Corlett and Patrick
Caine both of KK Michael.    Probatum Est  Maths Curghey.
