                  Maughold                 61.

         This is affirmed to be the Last Will  &  Testament of  Peter
Corkill  of this Parish who departed this Life about ye  20th of Jany.
and which he declared as such in the presence of the witnesses here
after named -------------------------------               Being of
Sound Mind  &  Memory  He committed his Soul to God and Body
To Christian Burial _____
First, He Bequeathed to his Eldest Son  Samuel  his best Medley Coat
Britches, Stockings, Shoes,  &  Hats, and a White Medling Waistcoat, if
                         White Waistcoat
his wife has a mind to give it ^ Item, he bequeathed to his son
                      &  all
Peter  Corkill his Loom ^ thereunto appertaining  &  likewise his Fish
ing Nets  &  all other Lines belonging to the Fishing__________  Item,
He bequeathed to his Son  William  Ten Shillings to be paid him at
The Twenty fourth Year of his age.   Item,  He bequeathed to his 
Daughter  Mary  the Big Chair  &  Cubbert,  &  like wife declared
that they portion of the sd. Daughter was paid her in full_____
Item,  He bequeathed to his Granddaughter  Margaret  Corkill  a
Lamb, against May to be receivd._________
Lastly, He constituted and appointed his loving Wife  Margaret
Corkill  als  Christian,  whole  & Sole Exectrix of all the rest of his
Goods  &  Chattels of what Kind or Denomination soever_____
