35         Lezayre
This is affirmed to be the last will and 
testament of John Christian who departed 
this life about the 28th of December 1767 
being of perfect mind and memory at the 
making thereof.  
First he committed his soul to God and 
body to a Christian burial.  
Item, He bequeathed to his brother Daniel 
Christian all his clothes vizt., coats, 
waistcoats, and peddies, and a kishan of 
pease.  
Item, He left to his nephew Thomas Garrett 
the second best coverlet and said Thomas 
Garrett is to pay one shilling British 
to his sister Isabel and also seven pence 
to his father Daniel Garret.  
Lastly He appointed his nephew John Garrett 
and his wife to be sole Executors of all 
the rest of his goods moveable and 
immoveable whatsoever and seven pence each 
to the witnesses of his will.

Cathrine Kaughin, jurati.                 
At a Court of Correction holden 
at Lezayre Feb: 29, 1768
John Garrett the Executor is sworn in Court 
in form of Law and has given pledges for 
payment of debts and legacies namely ........ 
& John Christian both of KK Bride.
