The last will and Testament of Elizth Skillicorn otherwise Cry of the
Parish of Kk Conchan who Departed this Life about the 22d of October 1767
being of Perfect mind and sound memory and understanding when she Published
and declared the same in Presence of us the witnesses sometime in or about
the year of our Lord 176[?]
First she committed her Soul to Almighty God & her body to Christian Burial
Item   She Bequeathed to her Grandaughter vizt Susannah Waterson who had
lived with her for some years Past the sum of fifty Pounds Currency of this
Isle as the sd Susannah had Twenty pounds left to her in the last Will &
Testament of her father Edw[...] Waterson Late of Ballnchow in the Parish
of Trinity Rushen, therefore if she the said Susannah shd ins[ist ?] upon
the Payment of the Said Legacy of Twenty pou[nds] aforesd, in that case she
should be Entitled only to thirty pounds of the fifty before mentioned in
this W[ill]
Also she Bequeathed to the said Susannah a Big Whe[el] a Little Wheel, a
Feather bed and bed Cloathes her pa[rt] of the Pewter and a Chist with a
Drawer to it
Lastly she Nominated constituted and appointed her only Daughter Elizabeth
Waterson als Skillicorn[n] of Ballnchow before mentioned Sole Executrix of
all [....] rest of her Goods Chattles & Effects moveable and imm[oveable]
Depriving all others that might pretned to a Right[ful] part of her Goods
after her Decease, with six pe[nce] Legacy Each, and further Declared that
upon [....] the farm to her only son John Skillicorn upon the halves, that
she was then Entitled to half of the Team which she Left to the management
of her said son John, he keeping the sd Team Entire, but that after her
Decease her Executrix before mentioned sh[ould] still have a Right to the
said half Team

The Witnesses to her said Will also further Declared that the said
Testatrix Elizth Skillicorn s[ent] for them (the sd witnesses) once a year
since the sai[d] Will was first made, and for fear they might forget the
contents thereof, always Republished and Declared the said Will over in
their Presence and also b[.....] sent for by the Said Testatrix in or about
Christmas L[ast] was a Twelve month   She the Said Testatrix pronounced
Published and Declared the foregoing words as her L[ast] will as usual, and
also further Declared by way of Codicial or Addition to her Said Will That
she Bequeathed to her sd son John Skillicorn, a Piece of gold which she had
in the House in value about thirtysix shillings
This she Pronounced and Declared as set forth in the Presents of us

The Exect is sworn in Court in form of Law & has given Pledges for payment
of Debts & Legacies namely Mr. Chas Grarghe(?) of Malew & Mr. Robt Banks of
