             At a Court of Correction holden at KK
             Michael March 16 1769
             
   Edward Lawson late of the Parish of KK Andreas
mariner having left this Island about nineteen years
ago & no account of him since received farther than that
he died on the coast of Guinea about eighteen years
ago intestate - The Court upon Intelligence thereof
Decrees his brother & sister namely Patrick, David
John & Joney Lawson joint Adminrs of all his goods
& chattles moveable & immoveable whatsoever -
David & John being abroad, Patrick aforesd with
Anthony Lawson husband of Joney are sworn well
& truly to administer the goods of the intestate, to
pay his just debts as far as the goods will extend &
the Law shall bind, as also to bring a perfect inven:
tory to the Registry for the benefit of their absent
bretheren - and have given pledges in form of law
namely Wm McNameer & James Lawson both of
KK Andreas.
