2 Lonan This is affirmed to tbe the Last Will Testament of Jo[hn] Lawson of KK Lonan who Departed this Life about the [7th] of Decr 1769 being then sick & weak in Body but of per[fect] mind and memory at the making thereof. First commiting his [soul] to God & body to Chritian Burial as to his wordly Goods & e[ffects] he bequeathed them in manner following. He left and bequeathed to his son Thomas Lawson fifteen shillings. Item He left and bequeathed to his daughter Jane Lawson fifteen shillings. And also he left six pence Legacy to any Person or Persons that would claim any Rights to h[is] effects hereafter. And Lastly he nomenated and appointed his loving [wife] Anne Lawson als Fargher whole & sole Executrix of all [the] rest of his Goods Effects & Chattles moveable and immoveable [of] what kind or nature soever. Witnesses John Quayle } Mary Fargher my X mark } Jurati John Quayle & Mary Fargher witnesses to the above Will further say and declare that Ann Lawson als Fargher wife of the Decd John Lawson agreed ... Consented at the time of making the above Will that half the Croft wherein they Liv'd should be settled .. her eldest son Thos Lawson to be possesed ...... of fifteen shilling bequeathed ..... him on that account.
