31       Onchan

This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Thomas Caine 
of Ballecronck in the parrish of Conchan who departed this life 
the 4th of March 1770 and being in perfect mind & memory at the 
making thereof, first he committed his soul to god & his body to 
a Christian Burial. And disposed of his worldly goods in manner 
as followeth:
Item he left to his daughter Dorady twenty shillings.
Item he left to his daughter Margaret twenty shillings.
Item he left to his daughter Catherine twenty shillings.
Item he left to his son Thomas ten shillings if he comes for them.
He left to the Poor of the parrish one English shilling.
Lastly he nominated and appointed his son John whole Executor of 
all the rest of his Goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.

At a Chapter Court holden  near Douglas 21st May 1770.
The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given 
pledges for the payment of Debts & legacies namely the witnesses 
of this will.
