This is affirmed to be the Last Will and
Testament of Dan'l Joughin of the
Town of Ramsey who departed this
life about the [fifth] of Nov'r 1769
being in perfect mind & memory
at the making hereof.

Imp's He committed his Soul to God and his
body to Christian burial.

Item He left his best Coat to his son Ewan

Item He left to his son John all the rest of
his apperral and the one half or moiety
of his Dwelling house, and that his s'd
son John was to pay unto his two Sisters
Christian and Jane Joughin ten shill's
Each

Item He left one shilling Each to his two
Grand Children John & Wm. Quay

Item He left six pence Legacy to any one
that w'd attempt to break this will.

Item He left one Shilling Each to the Witnesses
of this Will

Lastly He nominated his loving wife Jane
Joughin sole Exec'x of all the rest of
his goods of what nature soever
