78      Maughold
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
Cathrine Callow als Lace made on about the eighth day 
of March 1771, being of perfect mind and memory at the 
making hereof. 
First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left and bequeathed to her daughter Jane Stole 
als Callow all the woolen yard or thread that was in the 
house together with all her shaped linen and woolen apparel, 
ecept a cloak that she left to her son Daniel Callow. 
Item, she left to her granddaughter Jane Stole a little spinning wheel. 
Item, she left to her two daughters Isabel and Cathrine one shilling apiece. 
Item, to the witnesses of the will a shilling apiece. 
Lastly, she nominated and appointed her son Daniel Callow 
executor of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable 
and immoveable of what nature soever and six pence legacy to all cravers.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre 29th May 1771, 
the executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and 
hath given pledges for the payment of debts and 
legacies, vizt., the witnesses of the will
