In the name of god Amen, The fourteenth Day of March
in the year of our Lord, one Thousand Seven hundred and
Seventy three, I Margt. Creear, wife of John Creear Labourer of the
Town of Douglas being sick in Body but of good and
perfect memory, thanks be to Almighty god, and Calling
to rememberance the uncertain Estate of this transitory
life, and that all Flesh must yeild unto Death, when
it shall please god to Call, Do make and Declare this
my last will and Testament inmanner and form following
First being penitent and sorry for all my sins most
Humbly Desiring forgiveness for the same, I Command my
Soul unto Almighty god my Saviour and redeemer, and
believe assuredly to be saved, and to inherit the Kingdom of
Heaven, and my Body I Committ to the Earth to be Decently
buried at the Discretion of my Executors –
Imprimis, I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Margt. All
my wearing appearel of what kind soever –
Item,  I leave and bequeath to all or any of my relations Claiming
any right, or title to this my last will sixpence each cuting
them of with the same –
Item,  I leave and apoint my two sons, John and William,
and my Daughter Margt. Jointly my full and Sole Executors of
all my goods and Chattles moveable & immoveable of whatkindsoever, and of this
my last will and testament, hereby revoking Disannul
ing and making void all former wills and testaments
by me made and Declaring this only to be my last will
and Testament in Witness hereof,

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas 23th May
1773 –
John & Willaim the two sons appointed Execrs being [under]
age, Margt the Other Execrx is sworn in Court in [form]
of Law, & is to Bring to the Registry a perfect [Inventory] 
& undertakes the Tuition & maintenance of ????
part of the Children, She has given Pledges for
the payment of Debts & Legacies vzt. Wm Crellin
of KK Marown & James Kelly of Marown both
Uncles to the Execx.

recd. & to be fully paid all his share of Goods & Effects

of his sister Margt. Creer who was sworn Exrx
of the last will & Testamt. of his mother Margaret
& he doth hereby acquit release Exonerate and
discharge his said Sister Margt. Creer her Exrx Adm.
of all & every demand upon acct. of what Goods &
Effects he was entitled unto by the last will of
his mother Margt. Creer      Witness his mark
to his Name this 15th Augt 1788
