This is affirmed to be the Last will & Testament of James Kewley Senr of
Gretch Veg in the Parish of KK Lonnan who Departed this Life on or about
4th June 1773 he being then sick and weak in body but of sound Disposing
mind & memory at the making thereof
first he committing his soul to God & Body to Christian Burial
And as to his worldly Effects he bequeathed them in manner following
Imprimis he Left & bequeathed unto his Daughter Jane Kewley Twenty
shillings with the big Chest
Item He Left & bequeathed twenty shillings to his Daughter Mary Kewley
he further Left six pence Legacy to any person or persons that would Claim
any Right to his Effects
Lastly he revoking all other wills made words or Intentions uttered
Declared this to be his Last will & Testament & nominated & appointed
therein his only Two Dutifull sons namely Philip Kewley & James Kewley
joint Execrs of all the Rest & Residue of his goods & Chattles both
moveable & immoveable of what Kind or Denomination soever

The Execrs are sworn in Court in form of Law, as also to be just the one to
the other in the Division of the Executorship, & have given pledges for
payment of Debts & Legacies vizt The Witnesses of the Will
