This is affirmed to be the last will & Testament of John Skillicorn senr of
the Parish of KK Lonnan who Departed this Life on the month of September
1772 he being then weak in body but of sound Disposing mind & memory at the
making thereof
first he committed his soul to God & body to christian Burial, and as to
his worldly Effects he bequeathed them in manner following
Imprimis he left and bequeathed an house & Garden in Laxey with seven
shillings being the price he got for the Roof of sd house to his Daughter
Joney Quine
Item he left six pounds British to his Daughter Dorothy Skillicorn and in
case the sd Dorothy should contend with his Executor then she was to be
Debared with six pence Legacy
he left unto his Daughter Jane Ten shillings
he left unto his own Daughter Elizabeth seventy shillings
he left unto his own Daughter Isabel five shillins
he left Ten shillings to his son William Skillicorn of the money he owned him
he further left six pence Legacy to any person or persons that would claim
any Right to his Effects
Lastly he Revoking all other wills made words or Intention uttered Declared
this to be his last will & Testament and nominated & appointed therein his
Dutiful son Henry Skillicorn whole & sole Executor of all the Rest of his
Goods & chattles both moveable & immoveable of what kind or Denomination
soever

The Execr is Sworn in Court inform of Law & hath given Pledges for the
payment of Debts & Legacies vizt the witnesses of the Will
