Braddan At a Court of Correction holden at Douglas February 8th 1774. Thomas Creer departed this life on or about the 23rd day of March last past intestate. The court having received intelligence thereof decreed his two daughters Margaret and Jane Creer joint administrators of all his goods and chattels moveable and immoveable where soever, who being of lawful age are sworn duly to administer the goods of the deceased to be true and just to each other in the division of said goods and to pay all the just debts of the intestates so far as the goods shall extend and the law does bind them and have given pledges in form of law, namely Robert Leece of KK Braddan and Thos Corlett of Douglas. Decretum Est Ja: Wilks and John Moore.
