This is affirmed to be the last will & Testament of Cathrine Skillicorn of
the parish of KK Lonan who died on or about the 3d of February 1774 being
sick and weak but of a Perfect Disposing Mind & Memory at the making thereof
First committed her Soul to God and her Body to Christian Burial   as to
her worldly effects she bequeathed them in manner following
She left the chest and beddings to her husband John Skillicorn during his
Life and then after his disease to be left to her Son John Skillicorn
Item   She left to her sd son John Skillicorn her part of the crop and sd
son to sow it
She further left Six pence Legacy to any Person or Persons that would claim
any Right to her effects hereafter
She lastly Named and appointed her beloved son John Skillicorn whole and
Sole Executor of all the rest of her goods and Chattels movable &
immoveable of what kind & Nature soever

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas June 6th 1774 ~
The Executor is sworn in court in form of Law & hath given Pledges for
payment of Debts & Legacies namely the witnesses of the will
