March 1778 Bride The last will and testament of Dan. Joughin of the Parish of Kk Bride who being of perfect mind & memory at the making thereof- First he committed his Soul to God and Body to Christian burial Item He left to his sister Margt. Cowell of Ballacannell fourteen pounds which he gave to William Radcliff back in the parish of Kk Andrews as legacy which I have his note for Pd. Money Item He left to his sister's son Char. Cowell the field further southward of the Quarterland of Ballacanell as legacy. Also he the sd. Charl. Cowell is to pay Twenty shillings to my Exec. Item He left to his Sister's Daughter Cath. Cowell the feather bed viz. the ?????? and feathers only as Legacy. Item He left a field known by the name of Croit-y-lough in the parish of Kk Bride to his sister's daughter Cath. Cowell as Legacy, after the decease of his wife. Item He left to his wife's brother John Vondy a Brown Coat and a Brown Waistcoat as Legacy Item He left to John Cowell of Ballancannell a Big Coat and a medly waistcoat as Legacy Item He left to Char. Cowell of Ballacannell a medly Coat as Legacy. Item He left to Isabel Howland his servant maid ten shillings as Legacy Item to John Clark servant man five shillings as Legacy Lastly he nominated and appointed his loving wife Bahee Joughin whole and Sole Exec. of the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever and fourteen pence each to the Witnesses of the Will.
