I Anne Costain of rushin being sick and weak in Body 
But of perfect Mind & Memory thanks be to god 
Do this my last Will & Testament in manner following 
First I commit my soul unto god my Creator and my Body 
To a Christian Burial ~
Item I Bequeath unto John my son ten pounds Likewise to his
Child Wm. 20 Shillings Likewise to his Wife a gown and ~ 
A petticoat ~ 
Item I bequeathe unto My Daughter Christian My part of the ~  
Howe she lives in with four pounds. Likewise to her Children Anne and Margaret
20 shillings apiece ~
Item I bequeathe to Isabel my Daughter 15 pounds and my part 
of the  Largest Chest (Likewise to her son Thos. Erased) With 20 ~ 
Shillings to her son Thos. ~ 
Likewise to my Daughter Anne 20 pounds With the 
Bed and Cloathes She Lay on and the Bed my husband and I lay on after 
My husbands decease. With a black silk handkerchief a Blew 
Gown a Cotton apron and quilt and a Blanket Likewise my 
Part of the household goods ~ 
Item I bequeath Unto the poor of the parrish 5 Shillings ~ 
I bequeathe to my son Richard 4 pounds if he comes for 
them if Not its my husbands~ 
Item I bequeath my three Daughters Equal in the rest ~ 
Of my Clothes Linens & Woollens ~ 
Item I Bequeath to every Claimer 6 pence apiece Legacy ~ 
Lastly I Bequeath and left my Loving Husband Whole ~ 
Extr~ of all the rest of My goods Moveable and Immoveable

The Extr. is sworn in court in form  Law & ~ 
As is his particular request that his share of that House 
Bequeathed by the Testatrix to her Daughter 
Christian shall likewise descend to his sd. Daughter 
Christian after his Decease & hath given Pledges 
For the payment of Debts & Legacies namely 
The Witnesses of this Will

John Costean a legatee  in the last Will and Testament
of Ann Costean his Mother Decd. acknowledges to 
have recd. from his father the Exor. the Legacy 
bequeathed to him in said Will and exonerates & ~ 
discharges the said Exor~ and every other person 
of and from the same Witness his mark to his 
Name this 22nd day of Octr. 1794
