At a Consistory Court holden at KK Michael the 18th of March 1784. Hugh Cannell of the parish of Michael having departed this life on or about the 7th of March instant intestate. The court upon intelligence thereof hath decreed his five children namely John, William, Esther, Ann, and Ellinor joint administrators of all and singular the intestate's goods and chattels moveable and immoveable of what nature or kind soever. Ellinor being under age, the said John, William, Esther and Ann are sworn guardian and supervisors of the said minor as also well and truly to administer the said intestatešs goods and chattels aforesd. To pay all his just debts and so far forth as the said effects will extend and the law shall bind them. To return a true and perfect inventory of such effects to the Registry of this court and to be true and just to each other as also to their other co-administrators in the division of the residuum of the said effects. And to these ends they have given pledges in form of law namely Thomas Cottier and William Kelly both of KK Michael. Decretum Est Wm Clucas Inventory not typed.
