JOUGHIN, William 1784 Bri A 135 106229 The last Will and Testament of William Joughin of KK Bride made on the 20th Day of January 1784 being of perfect Mind and Memory at the making thereof. First He left a Chest and Bed whereon he lay to his wife Margaret Joughin Itm He left to his Daugh- ter Mary the wife of John Kneen the sum of Forty shillings of the Money which he had in the House of William Joughin of Ramsey - Lastly He nominated & appointed his Son William Joughin Jun'r sole Exec'r and residuary Legatee of all the rest of his Goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever To the Witnesses of this Will he left a Shilling Each Witnesses Ewan Goldsmith } Marg't Christian X }Jur: At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre June 16 1784 The Exec'r is sworn in Court in form of Law hath given Pledges for the paym't of Debts & Legacies namely John [Skaly] of Ballafail & Ewan Goldsmith the Witness Probatum est Thos: Cubbon Transcribers Note: On Sept. 17 1790 John Kneen acknowledges receipt of the forty shillings due his wife Mary.
