This is affirmed to be the last Will and 
Testament of John Creer of the Town of Douglas
who departed this life on or about the Twenty first
of December 1784
First and principally he committed his soul to the hands
of Almighty God who gave it and his body to Christian
Burial and with respect to such goods as he was
possessed of he disposed of the same as follows, that
is to say-
Item. He left to his son John Creer the sum of  
five shillings and his best coat
Item. He left and bequeathed to his son Wm. Creer
his bed-sted and the last great coat made 
for himself.
Item. He left & bequeathed to his daughter Elinor 
the sum of five shillings
Item. He left and bequeathed to any person or persons
that should claim a right to any of his effects
the sum of sixpence legacy
Lastly he left and bequeathed the residue and remainder
of his Effects movable and immovable of what
nature or denomination so ever to his Daughter
Margret.

And nominated constituted ordained and appointed 
his aforesd daughter whole and sole executrix 
of his last will and Testament.

At a Chapter Court holden at Beemaghag
in the parish of KK Conchan, May 30th, 1785
the Extrx is Sworn in trust in form of 
law and hath given pledges for the pay
ment of debts and legacies namely Wm Creer
& John Creer brother to the Extrx

I William Creer son of the within Testator John
Creer do hereby acknowledge to have recd the best
bed-sted & the last great coat made for the Testator
w?? ????? were bequeathed one as a legacy by the
last Will & Testamt of my Father John Creer
I do hereby acquit release exonerate & discharge 
the Exors of the last Will and Testamt of my Sd Father 
of the Sd Legacy, witness my Mark to my Name
this 8th July 1790   Wm Creer his x mark
